Registration and Information for Officials
Officials maintain USA Boxing standards, ensure the safety of our boxers, and provide the highest level of professionalism and dignity to a long-standing tradition. Those interesteed in becoming officials, please follow the process below.
The process is different after your first registration. For information on renewing your existing membership, visit our Renewal Page.
Log onto USABoxing and register yourself as a non-athlete. The registration fee is $90, with a additional $25 fee for background checks the first year you register and then every 2 years after.
Complete USOC mandated SafeSport Training by visiting Safesport.org. The training takes about 1 hour and doesn’t have to be completed all at one time.
After the completion of the SafeSport training and your background check has been approved, we will be able to offer the Level 1 Officials Test by clicking the link. The test is an overview of the fundamental basic of officiating. You would need to pass with a 70 percent and will be given three chance to pass the official exam. If you aren’t able to pass the test in three tries, you will have to attend a official clinic before USA Boxing Membership services will reset your official test.
